Misadventures with a Firefighter review!

Misadventures with a Firefighter is a story that deals with two people who have been burned by love before.

It’s the last weekend before the start of a new school year. This is caras last chance to blow off some steam before all the little kids suck up all her time. What better way to blow off steam then to go to the club and find a sexy man to go home with.

Noah is spending a night out with his fire squad after a shift at the station. When he spots the hottest woman in the room making eyes at him. He forgives why not blow off a little steam. Let the game begin.

It was only supposed to be a one night stand situation. With the potential for a friends with benefits relationship. But when Noah walks in to drop off his son for the first day of Kindergarten it’s a shock to see Cara in the classroom. The last person Cara expected to see on the first day of school is her gentleman of the night coming in with one of her new Students.

Noah is a single dad. His wife became seriously ill when she became pregnant with their son and passed away shortly after giving birth.

Clara moved cross country for her boyfriend but one day coming home she discovered him cheating on her.

Can Clara overcome the distrust her ex has put in her and go all in with Noah? Or will she choose work over love. Will Noah be able get over the guilt he feels for moving on from his deceased wife? Or will the guilt prevent him from showing Clara that Love is worth putting everything on the line.

I will say this book felt rushed at certain points. For example I would have loved to get to see at least the beginnings of being in a relationship and hanging around Noah’s son. Getting to see that first real interaction between cara not as a teacher but as Marshall’s dads girlfriend or the holidays which were teased as them trying to figure it out yet it was completely forgotten.

Overall however this book was an easy read and I would recommend giving it a read through. Another Misadventure down with more to come. Grab Misadventures with a Firefighter now!
