A Court of Frost and Starlight Review!

Sarah J. Maas gives this fan exactly what he wanted with A Court of Frost and Starlight!

Okay so before I go into My review, if you haven’t read the A Court of Thorn’s and Roses series then don’t read further because there will be spoiler’s!

That being said OH MY GOD! I’ve been a fan of Sarah’s for a while. I love her Throne of Glass series and I didn’t think anything could top that until she released A Court of Thorns and Roses! Ever since the release of ACOTAR  it’s slowly beat out every other series as my favorite YA series ever. So when I found out that A Court of Wing’s and Ruin was going to be the last book featuring Rhys and Feyre as the main character’s, I was a little perplexed and concerned as to how the series was going to continue. Sarah Anticipated the reader’s concern’s though and gave us A Court of Frost and Starlight.

A Court of Frost and Starlight is not big enough to be a full novel and yet to big to be considered a novella, but nevertheless it’s a bridge and a jump off point for the next chapter in the ACOTAR series. It’s takes place primarily in Velaris and follow’s the everyday live’s of all our favorite character’s as they prepare for the winter solstice. It deal’s with where the world is after the war and the wall separating the Fae and the Human’s falling. While allowing us an almost sort of fond farewell to both Rhys and Feyre, and I say almost because they will appear in future book’s but as side character’s this time, Sarah set’s up all the problem’s that will arise in future book’s.

Sarah also gave reader’s a very rare sneak peek into the next as of yet untitled ACOTAR book and reveal’s the next couple. I won’t tell you who it is but there’s only a couple option’s out there and you won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the next heroine of the series based off what I knew of her in previous book’s but it’s the perfect fit going into the next chapter. I LOVED the sneak peek of the next book I can’t wait for it to come out!

From what i’ve seen some people are upset or don’t like ACOFAS and they’re entitled to their own opinion’s but I loved it because of they’re wasn’t this sense of urgency about the characters, that a typical YA fantasy book has because of whatever the bigger overall plot line is. This was a nice view into their everyday live’s knowing that theres still more to do in the world but those problem’s can wait and won’t necessarily manifest until later in time.

I could go on and on but I won’t! lol if you want to buy it click the link’s below!
